Kundalini Yoga was developed thousands of years ago to work on the seven major chakras, the arcline and the aura. It works directly on the total energy of our being, balancing the endocrine and nervous systems, and reducing stress-induced toxins such as adrenaline and cortisol.
Through a blend of asana (physical postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), mudra (hand gestures), mantra (sound), meditation, eye focus, body locks and rhythm, the physical and spiritual practise of kundalini yoga empowers us to shift old patterns and deeply works on our biochemistry; therefore offering a new perspective for living, one that focuses on ‘being’ as opposed to ‘doing’.
Practising Kundalini Yoga regularly can quickly bring harmony in the body. This means that kundalini yoga helps each system of the body, each organ and cell to work together in harmony, so that every part of your physical body, and subtle energetic anatomy re-calibrate to work optimally.
A Sound “Bath” is a deeply immersive full-body listening experience where the attendee lays down comfortably wrapped in blankets and is “bathed” in sound waves produced by gongs, Koshi chimes, singing bowls, rattles drums and the human voice.
Participants can experience tingling or wave-like sensations in the body, sometimes with visions or colours, but usually they find themselves surrendering into a very deep relaxation; awakening afterwards feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
Your experience will be unique to you, and each time will be different. The gongs tune into your vibration and will send you exactly what you need, exactly where you need it! It is therefore always a very personal experience, wether in a group or a 1-1.
Practising Meditation helps you to find stillness by slowing down and taking time-out from the activity of the restless mind. It is a time to connect to your breath, your mind and your emotions, and to be present to the life force energy in and around your body.
Regular meditation helps clear and relax your mind, helps you focus your energy, stay healthy and become more kind and compassionate to yourself and others, enabling you to rejuvenate, process your feelings and thoughts, and handle the stresses of modern day life more easily.
Meditation is about the relationship between YOU and YOU!
